Dubai has unveiled its mega Diwali celebraions, with a 10-day extravaganza from October 17 to 26 offering residents and visitors the chance to win a luxury car, gold vouchers worth Dh150,000, and cash prizes totalling Dh150,000 alongside spectacular entertainment and shopping deals.
The Festival of Lights 2025, organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment with support from the Indian consu. late, features fireworks displays, concerts and retail promotions.
Noor — Festival of Lights returns to Souk Al Seef from October 17 to 19, transforming the waterfront destination into a cultural hub featuring grand processions, interactive workshops, live music and more.

We started 2025 as US Dollar bears and, thus far, the year has borne out as we expected. At its trough, the US Dollar Index (the 'DXY') fell by over 10 per cent since the start of the year before staging a modest rebound in recent months.
