M&S targets new, bigger Food stores in northern Lincolnshire

GRIMSBY, Louth, and Scunthorpe have been identified among potential key target areas in Marks & Spencer's UK-wide store renewal and expansion programme focusing on "new, bigger Food stores".

The retail giant announced it is accelerating its plans to modernise its store estate, placing the three northern Lincolnshire towns on a new list of 500 potential locations being considered for future investment.

The announcement comes as M&S seeks to significantly grow its food business, aiming to vastly increase its size through a strategic focus on modern, larger Food Halls.

Marks & Spencer is looking for prominent sites capable of housing its next-generation food shops.
