Dealer who kept drugs in a boot had £20k haul
Glamorgan Gazette
|May 07, 2026
A DEALER who stored drugs in an orthopaedic boot was found in possession of more than £20,000 worth of cocaine, cannabis and ketamine.
He later told police he was selling drugs under duress and in order to fund his own addiction.
Jack Treece, 28, was seen by police officers in Porthcawl on February 23 loitering in the street and he appeared to turn away from them suspiciously. He was seen again later that evening and was detained by the officers.
A sentencing hearing at Newport Crown Court heard the defendant appeared to be intoxicated and nervous.
He admitted he had a small amount of cocaine on him and was found with 0.486g of the drug concealed in an orthopaedic boot on his right foot.
