MOUNTAIN rescue teams rushed to a Peak District beauty spot, prompting assistance from an air ambulance.

Edale Mountain Rescue Team were called to Curbar Edge, a picturesque escarpment overlooking Curbar and Stoney Middleton, on Tuesday afternoon.
A climber had reportedly suffered a fall on the edge, and the volunteer-led crew provided medical care.
