Mum's joy as 'happy syndrome Finn, 2, survives cardiac arrest

TODDLER Finn Watkinson is wearing the biggest smile after the “superstar” came back to life 90 minutes after his heart stopped.

His parents watched in horror from behind a window as a surgeon opened two-year-old Finn's chest and massaged his heart internally while 20 shots of adrenalin were administered.

Doctors finally found a heartbeat and incredibly he is back to his happy self after the ordeal four months ago.

Mum Amy Whittingham, 40, of Barnsley, South Yorks, said: "Finn is such a ray of sunshine, from the size of his smile and the bounce in his step, you would have no clue he had open heart surgery and he died for 90 minutes."
