Siblings win £700k fight for share of illiterate dad's will

THREE siblings who were disinherited by mistake because their "illiterate" dad could not understand his own will have won a court battle for a share of his £700,000 fortune.

Hope Dillon, 65, Jo-Ann Morris, 62, and Leonard Grizzle, 64, claimed their "proud" dad Kenneth Grizzle struggled with words and never read them bedtime stories as children.

Kenneth had five children with two women his wife Ena Grizzle and later his partner of 40 years Theodora Richefond. But when he died, aged 83, in 2019, he left his entire estate to former charity worker Theodora, 73.

This included the Grizzle family's Victorian home at Forest Gate in East London bought in 1967 with Ena plus the property in nearby East Ham bought in 1992.
