DAMNING CLAIMS OF 250,000 EXTRA MIGRANTS A YEAR UNDER LABOUR
Daily Express

SIR Keir Starmer's "open door" policy on migrants could lead to an extra 250,000 arriving in Britain every year, a report claims.
Cosying up to Brussels by joining an EU-wide returns agreement would alone increase net immigration by almost 130,000 a year, the study argues.
Scrapping the Government's Rwanda scheme first introduced by Boris Johnson may ramp the figure up by a further 10,000 a year, it suggests.
The Henry Jackson Society report says Labour may reverse the rule blocking care workers from bringing their dependents to the UK, increasing immigration by another 120,000.
Taken together, it is claimed Sir Keir's policies could result in a quarter of a million extra migrants entering Britain each year if he becomes Prime Minister.
The Tories warned a Starmer government would see a repeat of Labour's "open door" to immigration under Tony Blair.
A party source said: "Starmer has spent months cosying up to 'open borders Blair', this report shows just how far Blair's influence extends. Brits should be in no doubt that Labour's empty words on immigration are exactly that.
"They have no plan to control immigration because they don't believe in it, they think all migration controls are 'racist'. If Sir Keir gets into No10 we'll be overwhelmed with waves of immigration just like we were under the last Labour government."
However Labour dismissed the report as "total garbage".
The party added: "It is presumably aimed at distracting from the failures of the Tory Party that has trebled net migration to a record high when they promised to reduce it."
The 20,000-word study, which has been seen by the Daily Express ahead of its publication tomorrow, is the first of its kind in forensically assessing Labour's plans to tackle immigration.
