Attraction's £8.7m 'Aviktas' mega ride arrives in resort

Blackpool's skyline is set for a dramatic new addition after Pleasure Beach Resort's longawaited £8.72 million thrill ride arrived on site today.

The record-breaking attraction, named Aviktas, will become the tallest of its kind in the UK when it opens for the 2026 season.
The giant spinning pendulum structure, which towers 138 feet into the air, reached the resort on Monday, marking a major milestone in the project that's been years in the making.
