Beardmore returns to City in permanent move
Bath Chronicle
|June 12, 2025
Mitch Beardmore has signed for Bath City permanently from Exeter City.
The midfielder initially arrived on loan from the Grecians in January.
Beardmore made 19 appearances in the second half of last season, scoring once.
"I loved it that much before, I had to come back," said Beardmore.
"The time I spent down here was some of the best football I've played.
"The players made me feel so welcome when I first joined.
"Coming in joining a new group of lads can mean a lot of nerves, but they helped me express myself on the pitch and it really helped me relax.
"Playing at a packed Twerton Park was an unbelievable experience to have.
"I'm buzzing to finally get the deal done."
Beardmore has known manager Darren Way since his time in charge at Yeovil, playing in their academy before its closure in 2020.
The 20-year-old will now be reverting to part-time football permanently following loan spells with Tavistock, Tiverton, Mousehole and Plymouth Parkway before City.
"I think I can transition to it quite well with the support of Bath and Daz [Darren Way]," said Beardmore.
"Obviously I'll still train as much as I can.
