Anti-Musk riots at dealerships worldwide

Demonstrators descended on Tesla dealerships across the United States and in Europe and Canada on Saturday to protest company chief Elon Musk, who has amassed extraordinary power as a top advisor to US President Donald Trump.

Waving signs with messages like “Musk is stealing our money” and “Reclaim our country,” the protests largely took place peacefully following fiery episodes of vandalism on Teslas in recent weeks that US officials have denounced as “domestic terrorism”.

Hundreds rallied Saturday outside the Tesla dealership in New York’s Manhattan.

Some blasted Mr Musk, the world’s richest man, while others demanded the shunning of his so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is dramatically slashing the federal government.

Amy Neill, a 19-year-old protester marching against the Vietnam War in the 1970s, accused Mr Musk of leading the country toward fascism.
