Chantelle blasts body-shaming trolls after bikini pics

Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton defies online critics and shows off another bikini, and a source tells new she'll never let the haters win

Chantelle Houghton didn’t hold back after being bombarded with nasty comments from online trolls after she was photographed in a red bikini. The 41-year-old mum-of-one was on holiday in Tenerife earlier this month, and seemed more than happy to show off the hard-earned results of her diet and lifestyle overhaul – as well as her stunning curves – in the tiny two-piece.

But the photos of her relaxing by a hotel pool and in the ocean attracted a slew of negative remarks on everything from her smile and her size to her choice of swimwear and hair colour.

Now a source tells us that after Chantelle saw the posts, she vowed not to give in to the haters – and to actually strip off more often to prove it.

“She’s a sensitive girl but she’s also very strong-minded,” they said. “She told her friends and family, ‘Trolls can slam my body but I won’t stop wearing a bikini.’ And she’ll wear that bikini with even more pride now, and the trolls will be treated to more holiday pictures.

“Yes, it’s hurtful and, yes, she reads them, but her friends remind her that they’re strangers, sitting there bored, who wouldn’t say that to her face.”
