Nepal has long been a favorite destination for nature lovers, history buffs avid trekkers and mountain climbers and even adrenaline junkies. As a country, we never fail to meet the demands for the hundreds of thousands of tourists that visit the country year after year. The government declared Visit Nepal Year 2020 targeting to welcome two million tourists. At the same time we have reading news that Nepal’s outbound travelers have been spending more the amount of foreign currency than the country has been earning from the inbound travelers. There are business owners in many domestic destinations that prefer domestic travelers over foreigners for many reasons. In contrary, there are individuals and families taking account of traveling a foreign destination rather than considering domestic option for vacation or even a short break.
There are hundreds of places to visit in Nepal but all cannot be included in one single story. We here present 20 selected destinations out of so many, if you have already visited these places then well and good but if not then how about putting them in your bucket list for the year 2020. While exploring these places, sampling their local cuisine along with their culture will be an integral part of the overall journey.
