Your Decisions Define Your Pathway To Success

It’s April! With the advent of spring season, it’s time for young students to make a decision about where their future is headed! India has the highest number of aspirants in engineering and if you belong to a typical Indian household, then “JEE (Main)” is probably what has been ringing in your ears for a while now. JEE (Main) 2017, is the most sought-after national-level engineering entrance examination which provides admissions into the top IIITs, NITs and GFTIs.

Your worry doesn’t end even after the long-awaited JEE (Main) is finally done. The most prevalent question asked by a majority of engineering aspirants is, “What after JEE (Main)?” Answering this and the decision you take for yourself is what will count in fulfilling your engineering dreams.

Don’t think only the top percent of the JEE (Main) qualifiers have options. Mid-qualifiers and even those who rank low have a lot of options. Don’t let your scores define your decisions; rather let your decisions define your pathway to success.

What should I choose?

Just when you think all the hardships and turmoil you have faced over the months of preparation have finally finished, a new worry looms over you – What should I do after JEE (Main)? Irrespective of the fact whether your ranks are high or low, this question will consistently haunt you, whether in the form of your own thoughts or through your parents. With just a little research, deep thinking and reasoning and some advice from here and there you can step into a career of your choice.

Categories for the confused

Based on the JEE (Main) 2017 ranks, we have divided the options into three categories:

On Top of the Game (High rankers)

Education's Heroes

In India, education is shaped not only by policies and institutions but also by the people who refuse to accept inequality as the norm. They come from courtrooms, laboratories, medical colleges, village squares, and city streets, bound by a belief that learning must be a right for all, not a privilege for a few. Some take on entrenched systems through litigation and advocacy; others create small but lasting change through libraries, community classrooms, and grassroots campaigns.
