Sedert hul ontstaan in die 1970’s het boilies die onbetwiste konings van die aaswêreld vir menigte karphengelaars wêreldwyd geword. Boilies het ‘n geweldige groot voordeel bo ander ase. Ons het vir Lewis Read gevra om vir ons te verduidelik oor die verskeie metodes wat hy gebruik om die beste uit sy boilies te kry. – Henry de Beer

Hempseed Bait
Hempseed is possibly the best bait for large carp. Acclaimed by the completive carp angler as a “super bait” and banned by some clubs as unsporting, condemned for years as a water pollutant and suspected of drugging fish – Paul Rawsthorne

Carp Fishing at Nandoni
One needs not mention the frustration of arriving at a pre-baited area only to find someone you do not know sitting in your spot and reaping the rewards of your baiting efforts. Not always a bad thing to have happen though as after swallowing the bitter pill of defeat and changing a few tactics one can still have success – Stuart Hammond
