Love is eternal, pure, sacred and serene. Love knows no barriers. Since time immemorial, love has often been the main theme of numerous artistic creations in the form of art, architecture, sculpture and literature. The sculptural marvel of Khajuraho and Konark, the much popular romantic stories of Radha and Krishna- all signify the importance of love in our life. Today with so much chaos and confusion around us, love is the only pill-for-all-ill. On the occasion of the festival of love, The Neptune GLITZ wishes you a very happy Valentine Day. May this Valentine season brings you a lot of warmth and affection from your loved ones. When a person loves his work, he can create wonder. His work only inspires him to do better every day. He becomes a self-critique and evaluates his own work to find out his own fault. Such self-retrospection and determination to create masterpiece makes him legendary and memorable. In this issue we have published such inspiring projects by fabulous designers who have created their own niche in this field. Yakusha Design Studio designed a unique project of the first eco-friendly stand-alone cottage in Ukraine entitled ‘Ethno Village’ based on 3 basic principles: sustainability, energy efficiency and ethnicity. Interior designer Krishna Mohan Nayak pioneers of simple, functional and visually appealing designs, has created a sophisticated and aesthetically engaging dwelling space for a family based at Bhubaneswar. Working purely on 'different needs-different solutions' Krishna created another elegant sense of place while designing the multipurpose auditorium of the Institute of Hotel Management at Bhubaneswar. Interior designer Manas Ranjan Bhuyan and designer Tushar Ranjan Mishra together designed the restaurant in Cuttack using materials judiciously yet playfully to a stunning vibrant space that does not shout its existence but firmly establish its credibility. Their creations are always filled with artistic innovation.
