Businesswireindia|January 25, 2019

A first for the Indian real estate sector, Lodha Group, India’s leading real estate developer has launched a 9DX theatre at the Palava Experience Centre to give customers an immersive visual glimpse of their lifestyle at India’s no.1 liveable city i.e. Palava. The 20 seater theatre will showcase a 7-minute story about Palava wherein every homebuyer will have a personalised setting owing to the Oculus Rift screen, giving each and every customer a unique experience through this cutting-edge technology.

The influence of technology in the realty sector today is not only limited to data analytics but evolving the experience quotient in sector. By combining IoT, AI & AR, developers are enabling a more enhanced end-user experience. With the drones helping in creating 3D images and videos of spaces, virtual tours of homes, all round automated experience within developments i.e., from smart homes to smart parking solutions, these tools are helping in introducing efficiently and transparency in the sector. Such breakthrough in technological advancements and deploying progressive tools is also helping in accelerating decision making. Being the first to acquaint with, 9DX is aiding the company to showcase a more informative presentation for the customers which supplements the company’s strategy to ensure full transparency across every touch point.

Commenting on the launch of 9DX, Mr. Shaishav Dharia, Regional CEO, Lodha Group said, “We have always been ahead of the curve when it comes to integrating the best of technological advancements with daily operations to offer the best products and experiences. Palava, one of India’s first smart cities, is a perfect example of this commitment where we have been leveraging cloud solutions and deploying IoT and automotive solutions to upgrade the lifestyle of its residents. 9DX is another effort to offer an end-to-end real time experience augmenting new age communication solutions.”

Jacques Larue, Experience Designer, Cadabra, added, “The challenge that the Lodha Group put to us was extremely interesting as they wanted to showcase how unique their smart city, Palava, is. The aim behind the experience was to take the audience on an immersive journey of the city and show them how exciting life here would be. That's how Palava's 9D experience came into being. It took extremely high levels of creativity and cutting-edge technology to make the experience unforgettable!”

Earlier, a customer experienced the making of Palava with the 3D projection assisted model, introducing them to all the phases of the smart city, however, with the 9DX upgradation, the customers will be able to see what the future entails in a city like Palava which is built on the live-work-learn-play lifestyle. Palava 9DX will also shed light on various spectrums such as the vision, plan and developmental phases of the city.

Recognised as the no.1 liveable city amongst others in India as per JLL’s report “Liveability Quotient – A Paradigm Shift in India’s Emerging Cities”, Palava has been planned to ensure a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle for its residents. Built on factors like smart governance, recreation, sustainability, etc., the city hosts a socio-cultural hub administered by next gen command centre (in partnership with IBM) instituting effective city management.
