Madhuri Dixit, who is still known as the dancing Queen in Bollywood, is shocked with the news of Saroj Khan passing away. The actress reached the pedestal because of her hard work but also because of her dance numbers which were all choreographed by Saroj Khan. Right from Ek Do Teen to her last number Tabah Ho Gaye, all Madhuri hit dance numbers were choreographed by the maestro herself. No wonder, the actress is mighty upset with the news.
Madhuri Dixit took to her social media to share her grief and said, ‘I’m devastated by the loss of my friend and guru, Saroj Khan. Will always be grateful for her work in helping me reach my full potential in dance. The world has lost an amazingly talented person. I will miss you. My sincere condolences to the family. #RipSaroji.’

Madhuri Dixit was Saroj Khan’s favourite muse and in several shows and interviews the choreographer has even confessed that she enjoyed teaching her favourite student – Madhuri dance. Madhuri and Saroj Khan gave several hits together and there were times that their collaboration for dance numbers used to become the USP of the film and made the film a hit at the box-office.
Saroj Khan took her last breath today in Mumbai at the age of 71. She suffered a cardiac arrest in Guru Nanak Hospital and decided to leave us too soon. The industry has lost its dancing shoes today and yet another loss of a great gem this year.
