Two collectors test positive for corona in Tamilnadu

District Officer of Coimbatore and Kanchipuram city of Tamil Nadu test positive. for corona. Both have been admitted to the hospital after the covid-19 report came positive. On Wednesday, District Collector of Coimbatore K. Rajamani and Kanchipuram District Collector P. Ponniah test positive for corona. According to officials, now the condition of both is stable. This is the first time in Tamil Nadu when the covid-19 test of district officials has come out positive. Earlier, corona infection was confirmed in 3 ministers and several MLAs.

The number of covid-19 infected in Tamil Nadu has reached 1,51,820, out of which 1,02,310 people have returned to their homes after recovering from covid-19. Also, treatment of 47,343 people is still going on in the hospital, while 2,167 people have died due to this deadly virus.

Over 9.86 lakh cases of covid-19 have been filed in the country. Out of which more than 6 lakh 12 thousand patients have also become healthy. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, 9 lakh 68 thousand 876 cases of covid-19 have been registered in India so far. Out of which 3 lakh 31 thousand 146 are active cases. Also, 6 lakh 12 thousand 815 people have been cured. Apart from this, 24 thousand 915 people have died due to the virus. 63.24 percent patients have been infected. During the last 24 hours, 32,695 cases have been reported and 606 people have been killed during this period. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), there have been 3 lakh 26 thousand 826 sample tests of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 1 crore 27 lakh 39 thousand 490 samples have been tested in India so far.
