When Jeannette reflects on the events that have shaped her life so far, the particularly cruel bullying she faced in middle school stands out. "It taught me how to let go, and how to forgive others and myself," says Jeannette, who created the lifestyle blog Hispana Global and writes content in both English and Spanish. The experience inspired her to help teens-the mom of two hosts self-esteem workshops at middle schools in Miami-and to take nothing for granted. "Life isn't easy for anyone," she says. "I firmly believe that we need to celebrate any tiny bit of joy we can find."
