SHEEHAN: WE HAVE PLENTY TO WORK ON

ALAN Sheehan admits there’s still plenty of room for improvement from his Swansea City side after they twice threw away a lead to draw with Hull City on Saturday.

Zan Vipotnik put the hosts in front just before halftime, before former Swansea hero Oli McBurnie equalised just minutes later.

Ronald regained Swansea's lead just before the hour, but after a period of immense pressure - which saw goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux make a string of good saves - John Egan popped up to fire home an equaliser deep into stoppage time.

Sheehan believes there were positives to take from the stalemate, but struggled to hide his disappointment at his side's failure to take all three points.

‘The Irishman was particularly disappointed by the number of chances Hull were allowed to create as the contest wore on. Indeed, were it not for Chilean international Vigouroux, the game might well have ended with Swansea coming away with nothing.

“It’s very disappointing, the manner of the equaliser,’ Sheehan said.
