Schoolgirl sexually abused in garage by groomer, court told

A MAN groomed and then sexually abused a schoolgirl in the garage where he worked, a court has heard.
The abuse carried out by James Thomas left his young victim feeling "lonely, isolated and unworthy," and "robbed her of her innocence".
Swansea Crown Court heard the abuse took place in 2012 and 2013, when Thomas was in his mid-20s and his victim was in school.
Ryan Bowen, prosecuting, said the defendant began texting the girl and then "initiated sexual activity" with the child.
The court heard most of the incidents of abuse took place at the garage where Thomas was employed in Morriston, and happened when the business owner was not around.
On one occasion, the girl spent the night in the garage, having told her mother she was having a sleepover with friends.
The court heard the girl left the garage early the following morning, and, as it was too early for her to go home, went to a McDonald's restaurant, where she sat for hours until she could return home.
