RACE 1(1,000M) (4) MYSTIC DANCER made a promising return after a lengthy layoff. She had shown promise and with a run under her girth, she should make a bold effort.
-
(1) COCCOLINA is a lightly raced 4YO. She made a smart debut behind the promising Kanaal Skater, but disappointed as favourite in her next race. She does appear to be better than that.
(6) MALSHANA MOU may have found the trip on the Poly a touch too far at her last start, but has two good runs over the course and distance to her name.
(1) SOL E SOMBRA was not too far back on debut and should improve on that showing.
RACE 2 (1,200M)
(2) ERIC’S LEGACY made a cracking debut when coming from a long way back to finish second. That was not the greatest maiden field, but he meets similar opposition and should be difficult to beat.
(5) WAR EMPEROR was not disgraced on debut when he finished behind the promising winner Cognac.
(3) RUNTHRUTHEJUNGLE can do better, while (8) WINDING POWER could also improve back to the sprint.
RACE 3 (1,400M)
(2) DOUBLE CAUSEWAY had it tough from a wide draw on debut and caught the eye with a smart showing at long odds. He should prefer this trip from a good draw.
(7) GREATEST HIT came on nicely from his debut effort last time. He stays the trip and should be up there again in this modest lineup.
(10) BOURBON’S BEAST was a beaten favourite last run but is way better than that showing and should be involved in the finish from a wide draw.
(5) NORIEGA makes his debut. Keep an eye on the 3Y0.
RACE 4 (1,950M)
