Mullanpur, Ahmedabad to host IPL 2025 playoffs, announces BCCI

The BCCI on Tuesday announced the schedule of the IPL 2025 playoffs, naming Mullanpur and Ahmedabad as the two venues.
Accordingly, the PCA stadium in Mullanpur has been selected to host the first qualifier on 29 May followed by the Eliminator on 30 May. The action will next shift to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where the second qualifier will be played on June 1 followed by the grand final on 3 June.
While Hyderabad and Kolkata were originally supposed to host the last four games before the one-week suspension of the tournament, the new venues were decided by the IPL Governing Council keeping in mind the weather conditions and other parameters, said a BCCI release.
Punjab Kings (PBKS), RCB and GT have confirmed their place in the playoffs, while Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will fight it out for the fourth spot.
