'Probe ex-lawmaker over disrespectful remarks vs First Lady'

An official of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) yesterday asked the Supreme Court to investigate and look into the possible disbarment of former Biliran representative Glenn Chong over his alleged "reprehensible remarks" against First Lady Liza Marcos.
In a letter to Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, BI deputy commissioner Daniel Laogan said Chong's alleged remarks against Marcos were not only "unethical" but also violative of the code of professional conduct for lawyers.
