Man Held in Pondy for Involvement in 22 Motorcycle Thefts

The Puducherry Police arrested a man allegedly involved in several motorcycle theft cases in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu and recovered 22 stolen motorcycles.
In July 2025, five motorcycle theft cases were reported in White Town and Market, under the Grand Bazaar Police Station. Deputy Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) R Sathiyasundaram and Senior Superintendent of Police (Law and Order) R Kalaivanan directed a Special Crime Team, supervised by Superintendent of Police (East) Isha Singh and headed by Inspector A Jayasankar.
