'He is so brave, he deserves a big party'

PARTY PLANNED FOR YOUNGSTER TO MARK END OF WEEKLY CHEMOTHERAPY
A PARTY is planned to celebrate the end of a year of chemotherapy for a brave Teesside youngster who is battling brain cancer.
Jayden Kelly and his mum have travelled to the RVI in Newcastle every Friday since last September so he can have chemotherapy. It will end in September and the family is planning a huge fun day to celebrate the event.
The seven-year-old has been battling cancerous gliomas since 2022 and in that time has endured three surgeries to his brain, one at the front of his head and two at the back.
Mum, Emma, said they don’t know what lies ahead for Jayden, but want to celebrate this huge milestone of ending a year-long chemotherapy treatment.
She said: "He is so brave, he really deserves a big party. It has been every single week, we can't ever miss a week, whatever is happening we have to fit it in around the chemo.
