Wong, Trinidad picked as PH flag-bearers

Wushu artist Agatha Wong and wakeboarder Raphael Trinidad have been selected to carry and wave the country's flag in the 2025 World Games slated Aug. 7-17 in Chengdu, China.
The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) made the decision on Friday, July 25, during its Executive Board meeting in Tagaytay City.
The 27-year-old Wong is a two-time silver medalist at the World Championships and winner of five gold medals in four editions of the Southeast Asian Games. She also won the bronze medal in the 2018 Asian Games held in Indonesia.
