HESTON Blumenthal is cashing in on the nation’s love of fish and chips with a £55-a-head platter, including pickled onion vinegar spray.The experimental chef, 59, has launched the "ultimate chippy tea" - which also comes with two crispy battered fish, tongue and cheek scampi and soused quails eggs at his Michelin-starred pub.

The order, finished with triple cooked chips, “chippy” dip, mushy peas, curry sauce, salt and vinegar fries and sticky toffee pudding, would set a family of four back £220.
