Spanish murder probe had clear early suspect

SPANISH police probing the murder of two Scots in Spain had a suspect within hours, it can be revealed.

In a remarkable twist of fate, a clear image of the gunman who shot dead Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons Jr was captured on CCTV as he fled the scene.

The pair from Glasgow were gunned down in Fuengirola after they watched the Champions League final on the evening of Saturday, May 31.

The killer walked into the bar and calmly first shot 46-year-old Lyons Jr dead before targeting Monaghan, 43.

Footage

Graphic security camera images of his killing were released to the Spanish media shortly afterwards, however, until now, the existence of other footage has not been made public.
