One Philly, A United City Citywide Cleaning Program continues

To date, over 200,000 quality-of-life services have been completed across the city as part of this initiative.

The Office of Clean and Green Initiatives, in collaboration with various city departments, quasi-governmental agencies, and nonprofits, will continue to address ongoing quality-of-life issues such as litter, illegal dumping, graffiti, abandoned vehicles, vacant lots, and nuisance properties as part of the fall edition of the program, running from November 3, 2025, through January 30, 2026.

Due to the program’s success over the past year and a half, along with the dedicated efforts of each agency’s employees, the initiative has become a standard operating procedure. A detailed cleaning will now occur in every neighborhood twice a year. History has shown that onetime citywide cleanings cannot be sustained alone; preventive measures, enforcement, and support from residents and businesses are essential for maintaining clean areas. By employing a proactive, intergovernmental, and holistic strategy addressing all quality-of-life services, city departments and partnering agencies continue to support Mayor Parker’s vision of making Philadelphia the safest, cleanest, and greenest large city in the nation, ensuring access to economic opportunity for all.
