Carla Abellana & Loisa Andalio on ghosts, supernatural beings
Manila Bulletin
|November 13, 2025
Carla Abellana and Loisa Andalio are excited to be part of the iconic horror movie franchise "Shake, Rattle and Roll: Evil Origins" under Regal Entertainment Inc., one of the official entries to the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival.
"I love horror films. Minsan nanonood ng horror na patay ang ilaw or ako lang mag-isa sa bahay. (Sometimes I watch horror with the lights off or I'm home alone.) But I love horror films. I find enjoyment watching horror movies," admitted Carla during a media conference for the horror flick held at the Valencia Events Place in Quezon City recently.
Loisa added, "Hindi rin ko matatakutin dahil mahilig akong manood ng horror films kaya excited ako when shooting 'SRR.' (I also won't be scared because I love watching horror films, so I was excited when shooting 'SRR.)"
Both Carla and Loisa play nuns in the "SRR" episode "1775." In the episode, set during the Spanish colonial period in the Philippines, a group of nuns seeks to survive the night after an unknown evil is unleashed within their cloister.
