MANCHESTER'S night-time chief Sacha Lord has opened up about his experiences in the city's music and nightlife scene, from being shot at to meeting his musical heroes, in his debut book.

Tales from the Dance Floor, a tell-all account of his career spanning three decades, will be released in April.

As you'd expect from the founder of The Warehouse Project and Parklife, it features jaw-drop-insights ping and never-before-told stories from his years as a promoter at iconic clubs including Sankeys, The Hacienda and Paradise Factory.

Readers will spot a fair few famous names crop up in the book's pages and Sacha recounts hair-raising stories and encounters with music legends.
