Motorcyclist dies after collision with pedestrian

A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision with a pedestrian on a busy road.

Emergency services were called to on Albion Way, Salford, at around 6.30pm on Friday.
Greater Manchester Police said the motorbike was heading towards The Crescent when it came off the carriageway.
The rider, a 25-year-old man, suffered serious injuries but later died.
A 25-year-old woman who was walking in the area was also hit by the vehicle. GMP says she has suffered serious injuries.
