Chef suffers horror injuries in bus collision

A CHEF has been left with horrific injuries after his leg became 'trapped' following a doubledecker bus crash.

Gideon Ingham, 32, was travelling into work on a Bee Network bus when it ploughed into the back of another stationary bus on Rochdale Road in Collyhurst on November 9.

He suffered serious injuries, including neck and back trauma, cuts, and extensive damage to his left leg and has not been able to work since.

At least 17 people were taken to hospital following the crash, which happened near to the junction with Livesey Street at about 8.30am.

Recalling the moments prior to the crash, Gideon said: "We were travelling along Rochdale Road into Manchester.

"I was looking at my phone as we approached the traffic lights, glanced up, and noticed a stationary bus parked at the stop.
