A CHARITY founded in Surrey and dedicated to protecting children online is set to reach thousands more young people thanks to a significant £20,000 donation from Omaze.
-
The Breck Foundation, which was established after the murder of 14-year-old Caterham resident Breck Bednar in 2014, works to increase digital resilience among young people across the UK.
The funds from Omaze will launch anew wave of the charity's RISE e2e Project in Surrey.
This will engage 15 uniformed youth groups, including cadets, Scouts and Guides, reaching an estimated 2,400 young people, 1,800 parents/carers and 300 group leaders.
