KILCOO made history in Newry by winning the Frank O'Hare Cup for the seventh consecutive season with a deserved six-point win over Carryduff.

Kilcoo were in the driving seat for the majority of the contest, although Carryduff had ample chances throughout a hard-hitting and entertaining game. Darryl Branagan, Anthony Morgan and Aaron Branagan registered early scores for the holders before the Guinness siblings James and Daniel got Carryduff off the mark.

The first goal chance fell to Kilcoo as Ryan Johnston tried to paim the ball into the net, but his effort was cleared off the line before James Guinness played a great pass to Pearse McCabe as the South Belfast men drew level with 19 minutes gone.
