Lawrence trial told of fire at home of couple

A WITNESS has told the trial of Ruth Lawrence, who is accused of shooting a drug dealer and another man, that a fire was burning at the couple's house the day after the men were last seen alive.

The trial also heard the witness helped load four “big stones” into the boot of Ms Lawrence’ boyfriend Neville van der Westhuizens car later that evening.
