Police: 20-Year-Old Student Dies by Suicide in Jaipur

A 20-year-old student from Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) in Jaipur died allegedly by suicide after he jumped off the hostel building at the college premises on Sunday night, police said.

JAIPUR:

"The student, a native of Pali district, had taken admission in MNIT last year and was a first-year B.Tech student of Architecture. On Sunday night, she jumped off the sixth floor of her hostel building," said Sangram Singh Rajput, station house officer (SHO), Malviya Nagar.

He added: "Her body was discovered by some students at around 10 pm who informed the authority and the police. We have sent the body for an autopsy."
