Ex-DBS CEO is Temasek India's non-exec chair

Piyush Gupta, the former chief executive of DBS Group, has joined Singaporean state-owned multinational investment firm Temasek as India chairman, albeit in a non-executive role, and will work with Ravi Lambah, head of India and strategic initiatives, the firm said. He will join on December 1.
Temasek added that Gupta will also work closely with the India team on their investment strategies, partner and support Temasek portfolio companies as they identify opportunities in India. He will also engage with the government and business communities, it added.
