Aman, Bhavya put UP almost in quarters

A sparkling century by Aman and a fine unbeaten half-century by skipper Bhavya Goyal put former championship and hosts Uttar Pradesh almost in the quarterfinals of the Cooch Behar Trophy, enjoying an overall lead of 340 against Rajasthan in the second innings, at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on Monday.
LUCKNOW:
Aman slammed 255-ball 100 with the help of 10 hits to the fence, whereas Goyal struck unbeaten 76 in 106 balls with the help of 11 boundaries and two sixes as Uttar Pradesh scored 336/7 in 103 overs in their second innings after taking a four-run lead in the first innings in reply to Rajasthan's first innings total of 254.
