There is no vacancy currently in Bihar for the post of chief minister, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief and Union minister Chirag Paswan said on Monday, expressing confidence that incumbent Nitish Kumar will continue to lead an NDA government after the upcoming assembly polls.
PATNA: There is no vacancy currently in Bihar for the post of chief minister, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief and Union minister Chirag Paswan said on Monday, expressing confidence that incumbent Nitish Kumar will continue to lead an NDA government after the upcoming assembly polls.
Paswan's remark, which came after he met Nitish Kumar at the CM's residence in Patna, is seen as a clear endorsement of Kumar's leadership and comes ahead of crucial seat-sharing talks among the NDA allies in Bihar. The LJP(RV) leader was accompanied by party colleague and Jamui lawmaker Arun Bharti to the CM's residence.
