Poll bets storm: Show us all your texts, Sunak told

RISHI SUNAK today came under opposition pressure to disclose possible WhatsApp messages related to any bets on the election timing placed by his "inner circle".
The demand was levelled after the Prime Minister refused last night to suspend two Tory candidates who are under investigation by the Gambling Commission.
He told a BBC Question Time audience that he would await the outcome of the probe but stressed he felt "incredibly angry" and that any wrongdoers "should face the full force of the law".
Mr Sunak's Cabinet ally Welsh Secretary David TC Davies said that he did not know if any other names were to come out.
Laura Saunders and Craig Williams currently remain Tory candidates for the July 4 election with the blessing of Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ). Ms Saunders' husband Tony Lee is also under investigation by the Gambling Commission and has taken leave of absence from his job as CCHQ's director of campaigns.
