A LIFE LIVED TO THE FULL

CANCER campaigner Kristin Hallenga lived most of her adult life on borrowed time, but when her death, aged 38, was announced yesterday it became clear she never wasted a moment.

Kris was 23 in 2009 when she was told she had stage 4 secondary breast cancer and given two years to live.

In the 15 years since that terrifying diagnosis, she probably saved more lives than any one medic ever could, after founding the charity CoppaFeel! with her twin sister Maren in 2009.

With her army of loyal "Boobettes", Kris successfully campaigned to put cancer education on the school curriculum and taught a whole generation how to check their breasts.

Simon Cowell, who met Kris at our Pride of anything was Whether it was projecting campaign images on to the Houses of Parliament, putting the first bare nipple on a billboard or launching her own Festifeel festival, she made her work fun.

Simon Cowell, who met Kris at our Pride of Britain Awards in 2009, told the Mirror: "Kris's love and passion for life has inspired, saved and will continue to help countless people. Her light and legacy will live forever."

Fearne Cotton, who headed up the annual Festifeel comedy and music festival with former Mirror columnist Kris, had been a friend for 14 years. She said yesterday: "I spent today looking through so many photos of the brilliant, silly, magical and special times we spent together.
