DODGY takeaways, nail bars and car washes face a crackdown in the Budget to help revive high streets.
Chancellor Rachel Reeves will give £1million to boost a new crack team of investigators rooting out businesses that flout employment and tax laws.
She wants to stop law-abiding companies being undercut by rogue traders.
The new investigators will coordinate a system in which no one currently has sole responsibility for stopping offenders who are operating in plain sight.
