The Fylde first teams are on fire in front of goal

Fylde Hockey Club's ladies’ first team posted a 9-1 victory over Kirkby Stephen 1 in Women’s Conference North, writes PETER LATIMER.
They began shakily before taking the lead through Nicky Kellett, only for Kirkby Stephen to equalise promptly.
Grace McGarvey, Jessica Wharton, Megan Wildish and Olivia Newman-Kirk then scored for Fylde before Kellett and Wildish completed their hat-tricks.
Having trailed, Fylde responded strongly through Lydia Hayhurst (2), Jessica Jennings and Sophia Melling.
North West Women's Division Three North (Central) saw Fylde 4 beat Pendle Forest 3 5-2.
