Celebrity author Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club series is one of the literary phenomena of the 21st century.

In its first week of publication, the fifth title in the series Impossible Fortune sold 145,600 copies in the UK and 2,800 in Ireland, making it the number one bestseller in both markets.
Four weeks later, it is still riding high on the best seller lists. Like its prequels, Impossible Fortune combines an intriguing plot with lovable characters, detestable baddies and Osman's compassionate, companionable and humorous style.
