Christmas Campaign seeks help to protect babies from the harm of domestic abuse
Blackpool Gazette
|December 09, 2025
The For Baby's Sake Trust has launched its 2025 Christmas campaign, Safe for Christmas, Secure for Life, calling on people to donate to help protect babies from the harm of domestic abuse in Blackpool.
For one week only, from 2 to 9 December 2025, every donation made through the Big Give Christmas Challenge will be doubled, allowing supporters to have twice the impact at a time when families need it most.
The For Baby's Sake Trust provides direct support to parents in Blackpool during pregnancy and the first years of a child’ life, offering trauma-informed, therapeutic support that helps parents build healthy, respectful relationships and create safer homes for their babies. The programme takes a whole-family approach to domestic abuse, working separately with each parent, addressing the root causes of domestic abuse and helping to create a safe home for the baby.
Lauren Seager-Smith, CEO of The For Baby's Sake Trust, said:
