Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) returned to the Dubai Exhibition Centre with a steady trade momentum, structured business engagement, and a clearly defined sourcing focus, reinforcing Dubai's growing role within the global jewellery supply chain.

JGTD DUBAI STRENGTHENS ITS POSITION AS A FOCUSED B2B SOURCING HUB FOR THE GLOBAL JEWELLERY TRADE

Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) marked its fourth edition with a strong showing that reinforced Dubai's growing stature as a global B2B sourcing hub for the jewellery industry. Held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), Expo City Dubai, the exhibition reflected a market that, despite ongoing cost pressures and supply chain recalibration, remains active, international, and strategically focused.

Organized by Informa Markets Jewellery, in partnership with Italian Exhibition Group SpA (IEG), JGTD welcomed 5,667 trade buyers, marking a 15% year-on-year increase. More significantly, international participation surged sharply, with overseas buyers rising 55% to 3,332 visitors, accounting for 59% of total attendance the highest international turnout recorded since the show's inception. Delegates from 102 countries and regions underscored the exhibition's widening global reach and its growing relevance within the international trade calendar.

A sourcing-driven platform with a clear B2B intent

JGTD's positioning as a trade-only marketplace continued to set it apart within the regional exhibition landscape. The show attracted retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, private-label buyers and sourcing heads seeking efficient access to suppliers across jewellery, gemstones, diamonds and technology. Attendance growth was recorded across key buying markets, including China, India, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, T ürkiye and Uzbekistan, highlighting Dubai's role As a neutral, well-connected meeting point for global trade.
