The bustling city of Sapporo in Japan is the starting point for five intrepid new pairs of contestants as the fourth series of BBC1's BAFTA-winning Race Across the World begins.
The five teams, including two mums with their daughters, will be racing 15,000km by land and sea across countries including South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia to see who can reach the final checkpoint in Lombok, Indonesia, first and pocket the £20,000 prize money.
