AFTER previously covering Eurogrip's Tread Talks series, we were excited to join them once again, this time for their 9th edition. What makes Tread Talks special is that it's not just another tyre workshop; it's an immersive experience that blends learning, hands-on testing, and real-world riding through diverse terrains. This time, it took the shape of an unforgettable road trip from Madurai to Kodaikanal.

From Delhi to Madurai: A Journey Begins

Our journey kicked off with a flight from Delhi to Madurai, where the Tread Talks began in earnest. Upon arrival, we headed straight to the Eurogrip Srichakra factory, home to Eurogrip Tyres. The day started with a conference where we deep-dived into the science of tyre manufacturing and tread design. It was fascinating to see how much research and technology go into something that most of us take for granted.

5 Key updates from Eurogrip:

1. Global Expansion: Eurogrip is the first Indian two-wheeler tyre brand to enter the USA market, with distribution in Miami, Florida, and Georgia.

2. OEM Partnerships: The brand’s partnerships with global OEMs have expanded, starting with Aprilia’s RS 457 and Tuono 457, and now moving to BMW's G310R.

3. European OE Supplier: Eurogrip is now the first Indian tyre company to supply OE tyres to Europe, including brands like Piaggio and Askoll.

4. Supersport Tyre Prototype: We were given an exclusive look at Eurogrip's prototype Supersport tyre, hinting at high-performance ambitions.
